We are looking for some volunteers to help us out throughout the month of September to prepare our site for planting.
The Lookout is a special place in Aurora located at the very edge of the Lake Simcoe Watershed on the Oak Ridges Moraine. Over the past several weeks, our neighborhood stewards have been removing invasive buckthorn to help restore biodiversity at the Lookout. Later this fall, we'll be planting a food forest!
We’ve already removed over 250 buckthorn at the Lookout, will you help us get to 1000 by the end of the month?
