Boasting 97 acres of trails, the Anne Bartley Smith property is a true hidden gem. You can't even find it on google maps!
During the hike we will search the Southern slope for remnants of old settlements. In early 1800's, the area was home to anywhere from 3 - 6 homesteads and even a cheese factory. Some rubble can still be found under the tree bows... but other interesting stories will be revealed by the plants that still remain.
Learn how to read the landscape and help us identify invasive species on Saturday May 31st from 10am - 12pm.
